The Performance Review of the National Aquatic Resources, Research and Development Agency (NARA)

The Performance Review of the National Aquatic Resources, Research and Development Agency (NARA) was initiated in 2026. The three member review panel consisting of Prof. Kalpa W. Samarakoon (Chairman of the Review Panel) , Eng. (Ms.) Badra Kamaladasa and Dr. M.A. Poorna C. Piyathilaka, visited the NARA main institute at Crow Island, Mattakkuliya. The panel carried out several discussions with the Chairman, Director General and Heads of Divisions as well as all categories of staff members, and visited the separate divisions under NARA. The review process is currently ongoing and the panel is expecting to conduct a comprehensive review within the next months.
